Morgan Henderson grew up in Gainesville, TX and has always loved the outdoors. She is married to Chad Henderson and has 2 very photogenic cats named Kevin and Lola. Morgan fell in love with birding in 2016 and was gifted a camera for her birthday so she could snap photos and practice identifying the birds. She was hooked! She is self taught and does not alter her photos, but tries to get the desired shot by utilizing the camera settings. Morgan finds the most joy in photographing critters and other beauties found in nature. 

 

She is also known to dabble in watercolor, jewelry making, drawing, and sings in a band called Morgan and Her Boyfriends. When she isn't in "crafty brain mode" she can be found helping people plan for retirement at Edward Jones. Morgan is a member of GAVA and is a board member for the Frank Buck Zoo.

 

Morgan won 3rd Place in Photography for her Desert Downpour  in the 2018 GAVA Fall Art Exhibition.
