Six Labradors and living in a picturesque part of North Texas provide constant inspiration to Pam in her art. A self taught impressionist, Pam tries to capture the attitude of her subject with her brush and often uses an almost whimsical interpretation of nature in her backgrounds. Although Pam’s work has appeared on magazine covers and one of her dog portraits hangs in the Retriever Hall of Fame, Pam is most proud of a program she started a few years ago - to give back to the less fortunate, furry friends. For a donation to a worthy animal cause she will do a small pastel or charcoal portrait for free as a thank you. Thus far over $2000 has been raised for worthy causes including adopting a baby elephant in Africa!! For more information about Pam please visit her website.
