Dorothy Caples

​​​Dorothy is a glass artist, a Texan, and Grandmother to 9 Grand children.
Her father made a career of serving in the US Air Force. She credits her Mother for her love of Arts. Like her Mother, Dorothy has tried several art mediums.

In 2004 Dorothy found her passion, making lampwork beads. She works with a torch shaping beads by layering, blending,and manipulating molten glass from Italian glass rods the size of a pencil. Turning the beads into one of a kind jewelry pieces.

In 2013 Dorothy added Flame Painting Copper to her jewelry creations.
Her husband, Bearl likes to say "Dorothy plays with Fire." She sure does and loves every minute of it.
