Domka came to the United States from Japan to attend the University of Arkansas. After graduation, she worked for a telecommunications company for a year in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming, and then came to Richardson, Texas, for a job transfer for her company. Around that time, her mother moved from Japan to live with her. Soon after, Domka and her mother took their first pottery class together at Dallas Community College. 

 

Domka continues to take art classes there. Her favorite class is printmaking.  Domka did printmaking as a hobby for about 10 years. But for the last 5-6 years she has been immersed in computer graphics.
