Carol Belcher has been drawing and painting since she was a child, growing up on a farm in East Tennessee. She attended East Tennessee state University where she majored in art and received a degree in Marketing from Greenville (SC) Technical College. Carol retired from the City of Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. While living at the beach, she was a member of the Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild, and a participant in the WACG Art Shows during Vivace.

 

In 2015 she moved to Gainesville to be with her daughter and grandchildren. Acrylics remain her favorite medium, painting on canvas, water color paper or wood, and choosing any subject that strikes her fancy. Both private and corporate collectors appreciate her diversity of style and wide range of subject matter.
