Karen's love of photography began at age 7 with her first camera which was a Kodak 126!​ Since then, her style of photography is best described as​ “SPECIALIZING IN THE UNEXPECTED”.

 

Karen is frequently amazed at the shots she has captured from landscape, nature, and human connection to action shots in various sports and animals.  She loves taking specialized photos.

 ​

Since moving to Gainesville in 2004, Karen and her camera have had some great opportunities to assist with several organizations in photographing various fundraising events including Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society, Cowboys for CASA, Cooke County Courageous Canine’s 4-H club, the Medal of Honor Host City Parade and Visto events at First Christian Church.

 

Karen loves entering art shows and has placed well ​at many of these events.  ​The shows have included North Central Texas College, North Texas Fair & Rodeo, as well as the Gainesville Area Visual Arts.

 

Photography is her passion and Karen loves shooting!
