Nancy Bentley

Nancy Bentley was raised in Valley View, Texas and lives on a ranch there today. She has been painting for 40 years in all media except pastel. Oil painting is her media of choice. She paints as a hobby and prefers painting animals, birds, florals, and landscapes. Nancy has participated in many workshops and college courses. She creates for pure enjoyment and as her legacy to her family.

Seeing beautiful pictures, viewing other works of art, and the challenge of “doing it herself” ignites Nancy’s creativity. She has shown her work at local banks, participated in several local art exhibits winning awards, and shown her work at Shady Oaks Gallery in Gainesville, Texas.

Nancy hopes to paint a landscape of a church in a rural mountainous setting in the future. She also would like to learn to work with liquid acrylics.
